Medical history:

  • 35-year-old male patient
  • Chronically recurrent psoriasis vulgaris since early adulthood
  • No joint pain

Previous treatments:

  • Systemic treatment with fumaric acid esters
  • Local treatments with mometasone ointment and betamethasone ointment
  • Calcipotriol + betamethasone

Examination/level of severity:

  • Class erythematosquamous plaques
  • PASI score: 4.8; BSA involvement: 5%

Treatment plan:

  • Enstilar® once daily

Enstilar® results:

After 1 week of treatment with Enstilar®:

  • Decreased reddening and infiltration of the plaques

After 4 weeks of treatment with Enstilar®:

  • Most of the plaques had completely healed
  • Minimal erythema without signs of infiltration
  • PASI score: 0.8

  • Frequent pruritus
  • No joint pain
  • PASI score: 4.4; DLQI score: 5

Treatment plan:

  • Enstilar® once daily for 4 weeks

Enstilar® results:

After 1 week of treatment with Enstilar®:

  • Subsided pruritus

After 4 weeks of treatment with Enstilar®:

  • PASI score: 0.6; DLQI score: 0
  • Patient reported satisfaction with ease of use1
