How to use Enstilar® on the body and scalp

Once-daily Enstilar® is convenient and easy to apply1,2

Directions for use:1

Step 1: Shake for a few seconds before use

Step 2: Spray onto skin from at least 3 cm distance (the can should be held in any orientation except horizontally)

Step 3: Apply to the affected areas and rub gently into the skin

Hands should be washed after application, unless the hands are being treated
Enstilar® is alcohol-free and contains paraffin1

How much Enstilar® should you use over 4 weeks?

The appropriate amount of Enstilar® to use depends on the extent of the patient’s plaque psoriasis body surface area (BSA) coverage.

The total dose of all calcipotriol containing products should not exceed 15 g per day.1 The total BSA treated should not exceed 30%. Enstilar® should not be applied on the face, genitals, or in skin folds.1

As an example, in moderate plaque psoriasis affecting a BSA of 5%, prescribe 2 x 60 g cans (120g) to fulfil the 4 week requirement of 70 g. Refer to the prescribing information for dosing specifics.1
